COUN 7373 - Dr. Susan Skidmore
This guide is intended for use in Dr. Susan Skidmore's Statistical Methods - Counselor Educational Research course (COUN 7373) and contains some key databases and resources students may find useful for their coursework.
Below you will find a number of different resources and videos that should be helpful in your course.
Using the tabs above, you can access other information such as a guide for creating APA citations and instructions for requesting materials through Interlibrary Loan.
Most importantly, though, don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you have. I am more than happy to help make your research process as painless as possible. On the right you will find my phone number and e-mail address, and on the left you can chat with me directly if I am available. Also, if you happen to be at The Woodlands Center, you can find me in the computer lab, room 315.
Please note: This guide is not exhaustive and is only intended to help students get started in their research. Also, this guide was originally created for Dr. Skidmore's Fall 2013 course at The Woodlands Center, and although the guide should prove useful for other COUN 7373 courses, this is not its original intention.
EndNote Web is a citation management tool available to you for free as an SHSU student. Use EndNote Web to track your sources and citations in order to keep your research organized. See the six part video series below, or talk to Tyler, for more information.
