We're excited to announce the Fall 2019 launch of the Instructional Materials Center (IMC) on the 3rd floor of the Newton Gresham Library.
Notable components of the IMC include:
Included in the imitative has been a thorough analysis of the Children's Literature Collection, including an area designed for Picture Books and updates to the collection.
Each professor has the option to place items on "reserve" for a class. Reserves includes book chapters, articles, class notes, tests, etc. - in print or online. To access the material, you must be an affiliate of SHSU. If the materials are online, you will need a password from the course instructor. To access print materials, visit the NGL service desk.
*** COVID-19 RESPONSE & Update - For the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester, all SHSU students qualify for Distance Learning Services. Read more at https://library.shsu.edu/home/covid19.html. ***
If you are an "online only" or "TWC only" student, you still have access to materials in the main campus' collection.
Logging on with your SHSU credentials (i.e., in Blackboard or your MySam) prior to searching the Library's catalog or databases authenticates your membership as an SHSU affiliate.
Find an item you're interested in? Visit the Distance Learning Services site for information on activating your DLS account for delivery of print items.
Items can also be requested through Interlibrary Loan for delivery to TWC, your email, your doorstep, or the main campus' ILL department for pickup.
