Upcoming TexShare Database Changes

NGL's access to EBSCO databases through the TexShare cooperative program will cease on August 31, 2023. The Texas State Library & Archives Commission has approved a selection of databases in their place. Access to the new databases is available now through the NGL catalog and library resources will be updated by Fall 2023. Follow the link below for an abbreviated listing of changes focused on those frequently used by COE stakeholders.

Gale OneFile: Educator's Reference Complete This link opens in a new window Gale OneFile: Educator’s Reference Complete provides more than 1,100 periodicals and 200 reports for educators, from the school teacher and administrator to students in the field at the collegiate and graduate level. It seeks to provide full text for titles in the ERIC database and covers multiple levels of education from preschool to college, and every educational specialty—such as technology, bilingual education, health education, and testing. It also provides insight on issues in administration, funding, and policy.

Made up of Science Citation Index, Social Science Citation Index, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index, each index is a true cited reference index, with citation counts and the ability to trace research forward or backward in time.
