Occasionally when adding an invoice but trying to cancel it before getting to the point of adding the invoicelines, the invoice is saved and cannot be deleted. See example in attached file.
Sirsi Support must be contacted to delete the invoice for us.
(The library has a limited number of librarians who serve as contacts with Sirsi Support staff. For acquisitions problems, the Head of Acquisitions is the contact person.)
Here is the resolution information from Sirsi Support about this problem.
Sirsi has to contact our SHSU Information Technology department to be allowed access to our Sirsi system. The reference to Rick below is someone in SHSU IT department.
Resolution Details:
I did a logmein session this morning with Rick and was able to delete the invoice. Due to some problems with the way the database stores invoice information, in order to access the invoices for modification/removal, at least 1 invoice line needs to exist.
The invoice is deleted, and things should be working normally now.
Thanks,
Tyler Cazier
