  • OCLC Synchronization: Semesterly holdings synchronization complete. Seeing reduced instances of anomalies; no reports of material request errors from ILL this semester.

  • Inventory Project: The C&M Unit has met to discuss the renewed inventory project; review cataloging procedures for inventory items transferred to Tech Services; and assess strategies for handling any issues we may encounter. Developed central unit Excel document to record issues encountered, which I’ll use to track frequency of reoccurring problems and relay feedback to Crystal/Stacks for discussion and review as needed. We’ve encountered several instances of false “Item not in Catalog” or “Location Error” reports, but thus far the process appears to be working well overall. Will continue to track and monitor as the project progresses.

  • Closed Stacks Dehumidifier Status: Received report that the Closed Stacks central dehumidifier unit is functioning properly. Conducted test with SS to measure humidity levels without use of mobile units. Humidity levels remained at high levels during this time (57-70%). Mobile units have been turned back on – will send test data to Michael for review.

  • LibTicket Report: Ticket inflow continues to remain relatively low, with roughly 1-3 reported issues per week. From 10/01 - 11/15, 17 tickets have been resolved and closed. Currently 8 unresolved issues (6 new, 2 old). Most reported issues are being resolved same-day; however, we’re encountering several EDS issues that require coordination with EBSCO.
