Free Images, Videos, Music, & Texts Instructors Can Legally Use in Courses

This guide compiles resources where faculty can find free images, videos, music, and texts to legally use in their classes, and also provides a brief overview of copyright and fair use.

Guidelines

If the image is shared as Public Domain or CC0 – attribution is not required, but is encouraged for courtesy when possible
 
For any license that includes CC-BY-… – attribution is required
 
Use TASL:

  • License
 
Indicate minor changes or more significantly modified derivative works
