If you need to find information on an art/architecture/photography subject for research, you can use the databases to find full-text articles.

Caveat: Not all articles are available in full-text. If there's a "full-text" box or search option on the search page of the database then make sure to select it. However, you can try requesting the article through Interlibrary Loan. Learn more here: https://library.shsu.edu/services/ill.html

Covers leading arts and humanities journals and selected articles from social science and science journals. Indexes articles, bibliographies, editorials, letters, reviews, and more in arts, humanities, and related social science and science information.

Full-text journals in many disciplines across the sciences and humanities. SHSU subscribes to "Project Muse Premium."

Provides many of the most important academic journals in the humanities. You can use the Library catalog to limit your search to E-Books: On the Advanced Search page, go to the drop-down menu "Location Groups" and select "Electronic Books", next do your search by keyword, subject, etc. Your results are now limited to E-Books.
