Where Do I Search?

We recommend searching library resources to find the most content without being asked to pay for it.

Quick Search is the best starting point for books, e-books, journal articles, videos, and the sources that are available at SHSU for almost any discipline.
Google Scholar is a great starting point, too, but use it through the library so that it will automatically link you to things we own (we don't want you to pay!).

We also have databases that collect articles on specific subject areas and can provide very useful specialized search fields.

You can also view ALL databases and filter to just those with specific types of sources -- such as dissertations, newspapers, or statistics.
