TIPS: Library Ebooks - Annotation Features

Most ebooks from the SHSU Library are hosted on two platforms: EBSCO eBooks and ProQuest Ebook Central. Each platform provides different features for ebook annotation.

Saving Notes on EBSCO eBooks
Create rich text notes attached to the current page of the ebook. You must FIRST create and sign in to a free My EBSCOhost account to ensure that your notes will be saved.
Book Annotations in ProQuest Ebook Central
You are by default logged into a personal account. Annotation features:
- Highlighting (multiple colors)
- Notes (attached to selected text on a page; can be exported)
- Bookmarks (to quickly return to specific pages)
