Don't Just Copy--Get Permission

Tables, charts, graphs, images, etc. all have original creators, and you need to make sure that you have permission to use someone else's creation in your own work.

In many cases, you can easily obtain a license to reprint part of a published work by using the CCC Marketplace. The link below provides a detailed, illustrated walk-through of the process!

You can also fill in and send this letter to the author via email, snail-mail, or fax to ensure you get their permissions and you are following copyright: The Copyright Compliance and Permissions Letter.
