This guide is intended to support students enrolled in the Higher Education Administration program at Sam Houston State University.
This guide is not comprehensive; it does not list all of the resources in this or related disciplines owned by the Library or available on the Internet. This guide serves merely as a starting point for research.
In this guide, you will find information and resources that should be helpful for students enrolled in the Higher Education Administration program. This includes recommended databases that you may need for your research, video tutorials for key research tasks, online citation assistance, and other relevant resources such as the Chronicle of Higher Education, statistics, etc. An introduction to the citation reference manager Endnote Web, Interlibrary loan, and information regarding distance services for online students are also linked along the left side of the guide. Also note that this guide has three pages - the blue tabs along the page top allow you to navigate to that target content.
In addition, there are a number of ways in which you can contact a librarian for personal assistance with any questions you have. As the creator of this guide, you can find my contact information on the left. Please feel free to call, e-mail, or chat with me anytime. You can also stop in to see me in person, but please keep in mind I am located at The Woodlands Center. Also, you can visit the library's Ask a Librarian page for more contact options.
Click on the title of one of the databases below to begin searching within that database. If you are off campus, you will be prompted to enter your SHSU login.
