The "Subject" search field finds resources about a particular topic.
Search "Author" (Last Name, First Name) to find:
The "Keyword" search field only matches the words you entered to the words in the book's record.
Google looks for your keywords in the website, and sometimes those websites aren't what you need. The catalog does the same except it's not searching the whole book; just the record about the book.
You can find books, ebooks and other items in the Library Catalog from any Internet-connected device. **If you are off campus, you may need to log into your MySam or Blackboard account before going to the Library's webpage.
You can access the catalog through the Library's homepage by clicking on "Advanced Search" in the Quick Search tab. Then click on the "Library Catalog" radial button to search the catalog. You can now type in your search terms and click "Search" to complete the search.
